Guacamole is something I started making for myself recently, and it is pretty tasty on just about anything. Most guac recipes are easy, but I’d like to think this version is particularly foolproof.
1 teaspoon of minced garlic (I keep a small jar of minced garlic in the fridge)
1 heaping spoonful of salsa (many recipes call for onion and/or tomatoes, so I just use salsa instead)
1 tablespoon of lime juice (I also keep one of those plastic, fake limes with juice inside)
Start by cutting your avocado in half, and then use a standard spoon to get out all the green goodness into a bowl. I then use my spoon to mash up the avocado until you have it as chunky or as creamy as you’d like. You could also throw all of this into a small food processor, but I don’t feel like it is worth the effort. Once my avocado is mashed up, I put in the other 3 ingredients and stir well.
Boom. Guacamole ready to go.
